This stuff is awesome. I use it on an “as needed” basis and am impressed by the duration of relief. I haven’t had to use it every day, so it’s lasted me a while even though I layer on thick when I do use it. I’ve used it on my knees, hip flexors, elbows, feet, and recurring knots in my neck. If you understand the interconnectivity of the body, you can find extra helpful ways to use the balm. Example - I get bad groin cramps after I squat, because the running/walking/hiking, desk job, and lifting give me tight hips that “pull” my groin too much. I started putting the balm on my hip flexors, it helped me loosen up and improve my posture, and thus helped my inner thigh cramps and allow me to stay active. No NSAIDs. Incredible.
My typical weeks include heavy compound weight training, long distance running, long walks and/or hikes, and working at a desk. I’m 29 years old and 5’11” 205lbs. My body type isn’t a great match for the distance running and intense hikes - but the recovery balm helps me do what I love without such bad inflammation :) I took way too much ibuprofen when playing sports as a kid, due to chronic knee tendinitis triggered by my osgood-schlatters. I try to never use NSAIDs anymore, and mad ritual helps me avoid relying them. Just remember CBD balm is not a cure for overtraining, poor form, physical imbalances or a highly inflammatory diet. But all that said, this product is amazing and very useful. I am so happy with how it’s quickly helped relieve my random ailments to allow me keep doing what I love. It even helps me to be “healthy” enough to do corrective strength training that is otherwise pretty difficult. For example, you can mitigate knee tendinitis by strengthening your quads, but it’s hard to do quality quad exercises it your knee joints are badly inflamed by the tendinitis.
Final note in this lengthy review, I’m from Tacoma, and am so excited to be able to buy local from a women owned business. Thanks for the great product!
