Pressure Point CBD Massage for Insomnia
Did you know your feet could hold the key to a better night sleep?
Relax mind and body with our Vanilla Spice blend. The warm and cozy aromatherapy of chamomile and vanilla essential oils help alleviate stress. Follow our guided pressure point massage to combat insomnia and enhance sleep quality.
Acupressure and reflexology practices have manipulated pressure points to affect corresponding parts of the body for centuries. Based on traditional Chinese medicine and beliefs about energy flows within the body.
Warm a small amount of relief rub between your fingers and begin rubbing the outside of your big toe. This can help stimulate meltonin production.
Work your way across the ball of the foot to LV3 where the big toe and next toe connect. Apply deep even pressure and rub the pressure point in a circular or up & down motion. Pressure should be applied for 20-30 seconds.
Using the thumbs in a circular motion continue to massage relief rub into the bottom of the foot, moving up into the arch and applying pressure to KD1 (middle of foot). Move onto KD3 just above the heel on the inside of foot (also known as the Taixi). Using longer strokes, massage up the calf and apply pressure to SP6 which is inside the lower leg above the ankle.
The combined relaxation from our pain relieving broad spectrum CBD and tension busting aromatherapy should have you feeling less restless and ready for a restorative night sleep.
Our pressure point guided massage doesn't stop at the feet though. It's time to focus on the upper body. Target HT7 on the outside of the wrists. Then apply 20-30 seconds of pressure to PC6, which is on the arms a few inches above the hands. Work relief rub into the neck from the base of the hairline down to the shoulders.
An mian is on the neck behind the earlobes. This is the last point that will require 20-30 seconds of even pressure. Take several deep slow breaths. To complete this ritual, apply pressure to the yin tang - above the bridge of the nose and between the eyes in 5 second increments.
Healthy sleep habits are crucial to our overall well-being, so use this guide and get the good night's sleep you deserve.
